Over 10,000 hours of photography practice, 1000's magazines read,1000’s hours video tutorials perused,
1000’s webpages clicked, umpteen digital workflows tried & tested a plethora of camera settings tweaked.
Over 4000,000 steps walking the Shropshire hills and traipsing around London & North Wales
Roughly 21 trips on the Shropshire Shuttle bus and some miles on the scooter
over £100 on fine art paper refining my printing skills & over £200 on mounting,
£’s on RPS advisory day's, travel fare and accommodation
and one workshop with Mr Mark Banks and Mr Joe Cornish.
All for the sake of four letters after my name . . . LRPS (Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society).
So, what do these letters mean? Apart from the obvious definition -click here- they show my devotion to my craft and too producing quality fine art photography of the Shropshire hills and local countryside for you, your loved ones and future generations of Shropshire landscape lovers.
Is this the pinnacle of my journey? . . . far from it, this is just the beginning, this is where I take it up a gear and start taking more time over my compositions, being more judgemental of my story telling and growing deeper, closer and more intimate with my subject matter.
Please join me on my quest for excellence.
